There was so much pressure amongst my managers, who were mostly highly educated and intelligent young women in their 20s. They were very capable individuals. However, turnover was rampant, emotional breakdowns were frequent and the stress of it all was too much! I knew a lot of them wanted to seek help from a professional, but there was simply no time (or no way.) With the long work hours and the stigma associated with seeing a professional, I knew my managers would just sit and bear it until they could quit or be transferred.
