Compared to last week: Slaughter lambs were sharply higher but unevenly steady across weight classes. Feeder lambs were steady on a very light test. Slaughter ewes and bucks were mostly steady on good tests. Slaughter kids were mostly 3.00 to 10.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter nannies were mostly steady on a moderate test. Slaughter billies were sharply lower and wethers were mostly steady on light to moderate tests. Bottle fed lambs traded between 8.00 and 16.00 per head. Weaned lambs traded between 40.00 and 80.00 per head, mostly 40.00 per head. Exposed ewes traded between 130.00 and 200.00 per head. The sheep supply consisted of approximately 40 percent slaughter lambs, 5 percent feeder lambs with the balance being slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 40 percent slaughter and feeder kids, 35 percent slaughter nannies/ does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers.
