CENTENNIAL LIVESTOCK AUCTION WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29, 2017 SHEEP AND LAMB AUCTION AND STATE AND FEDERAL REPORTING Compared to last week: Slaughter lambs and feeder lambs did not have enough for a test. Slaughter ewes were mostly 3.00 to 5.00 lower on a moderate test, while slaughter bucks were mostly 10.00 higher. Slaughter kids traded mostly higher on a light test. Slaughter nannies were mostly steady on a moderate test. Slaughter billies were higher and wethers were mostly steady on light to moderate tests. Bottle fed lambs traded between 5.00 and 17.50 per head with a few 35.00-42.50 per head. In the sheep supply approximately 36 percent were slaughter lambs and feeder lambs with the balance being slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 46 percent slaughter and feeder kids, 40 percent slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
