CENTENNIAL LIVESTOCK AUCTION WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12, 2017 SHEEP AND LAMB AUCTION AND STATE AND FEDERAL REPORTING  Compared to last week: Slaughter lambs were mostly 10.00 to sharply lower on a light to moderate test. Feeder lambs were sharply lower on moderate test. Slaughter ewes were mostly 2.00 to 10.00 lower on a good test, while slaughter bucks were mostly steady on a light to moderate test. Slaughter kids traded mostly steady to sharply higher on a light to moderate test. Slaughter nannies were mostly steady on a moderate to good test. Slaughter billies were mostly steady and wethers were sharply higher on light to moderate tests. Bottle fed lambs traded between 11.00 and 42.50 per head, mostly 20.00 to 27.50 per head. The sheep supply consisted of approximately 38 percent were slaughter lambs, 17 percent feeder lambs with the balance being slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 40 percent slaughter and feeder kids, 40 percent slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.Â
