Day 01 Lima Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival at the Lima International Airport of Jorge Chavez, a representative of Peru4x4adventures.com will pick you up and transfer you to the selected hotel. Arrival at the hotel, check inn and BRIEFING concerning to the expedition as well as the usage of the units and safety regulations. Overnight.
Day 02 Lima Breakfast in the Hotel. During the day guided tour to the splendid archaeological citadel of Pachacamac, this is a sacred ceremonial place, which dates back to the beginning of Christianity. To this place thousands of people came to pay tribute to the Pachacamac Oracle, to which people thought it could look into the passed and future. Return to the Hotel and overnight. (B)
Day 03 Lima - Trujillo
( Total Kms Lima – Trujillo 566 kms)
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure from Lima very early in the morning taking the northern Panamaericana. First visit on route will be the Pyramid of the Paramonga fortress located km 205 of the northern panamericana. From the very top of this fortress one can observe the whole valley, after this visit we continue our expedition do Sechin in Casma, this is also a pre-Inca archaeological site with engraved walls, in which you see warriors and mutilated people. Sechin was constructed 750 years before Christ. Afterwards continue our journey to Trujillo city. Arrival in the evening, check inn and overnight. (B)
Day 04 Trujillo Breakfast in the hotel. At fixed time visit to the temples of the Sun and the Moon (Sol y Luna), which were constructed by the Moche culture (500 years before Christ). It is said that these pyramids 130 feet tall, are the largest adobe construction on the American continent. Afterwards guided visit to the archaeological complex El Brujo, place in which La Sra. De Cao was found, our visit will continue to the famous sand city of Chan Chan, in Pre-Inca times this was the largest city on the American continent. Chan Chan covered an extension of 20 square kilometres, and its population was estimated in 100.000 inhabitants. After this visit we continue to the summer beach resort of Huanchaco, where we will enjoy a delicious meal (Cost of meal Not included). Return to the hotel and overnight. (B)
Day 05 Trujillo - Chiclayo Breakfast in the hotel. At fixed time departure in 4x4 units to Chiclayo. On route we will visit Huaca Rajada, this is the place where the Lord of Sipan was discovered. Continue our journey to the city of Chiclayo. Arrival, check inn and overnight. (B)
Day 06 Chiclayo Breakfast in the hotel. Departure in 4x4 to Lambayeque, where we will visit the Pyramids of Tucume as well as its local museum. Later we will visit the Museum of the Royal Tombs of the Lord of Sipan, in this museum you will be able to observe all the objects found in the original tomb located in Huaca Rajada. Continue our journey 50 kms east of Chiclayo until arriving in Batan Grande, this is the funerary and religious of the Sican culture. When finishing this visit we return to the hotel. Overnight (B)
Day 07 Chiclayo - Pacasmayo – Cajamarca

Breakfast in the hotel. At fixed time departure from Chiclayo in 4x4 units to the city of Cajamarca. After 6 hours journey we arrive to this beautiful city. Check in at the hotel. Overnight. (B) NOTE: We recommend you to take Box Lunch on this trip (not included)
Day 08 Cajamarca Breakfast in the hotel. Tour around the city, visiting the Main Square, Cathedral, Catacombs, San Francisco Museum, Chapel of the Dolorosa, Colonial Hospitals, Belen Museum, Rescue Chamber (Place in which Atahualpa filled with gold and silver as ransom for his liberty) And Santa Apolonia. Return to the hotel and free time for personal activities. Overnight. (B)
Day 09 Cajamarca Breakfast in the hotel. In 4x4 units visit Cumbemayo, on route we will also visit Bellavista, Layzon. In Cumbemayo you will be able to walk within the stone forest, the sanctuary and aqueducts, etc. Return to the hotel. Afternoon free time at own leisure. Overnight. (B)
Day 10 Cajamarca – Chachapoyas - Tingo (335kms) After early breakfast departure in 4x4 units with direction to Chachapoyas, taking the route to Celendin. We will pass by the Maranon Canyon, one of the most beautiful and deepest canyons in South America. Here it will be impressive to see all the microclimates as well as its geographical contrasts. We will drive down from 3065 m.a.s.l till 700 m.a.s.l to the town called Balsas, afterwards ascend again up to 2150 m.a.s.l arriving in Leymebamba. Visit to the Malqui Museum, where you will be able to appreciate more than 200 mommies, found in the Condores Lagoon. Arrival in Tingo, Check inn at the hotel. Overnight. Day 11 Tingo – Kuelap – Chachapoyas After breakfast, visit Kuelap, a spectacular city with pre-Inca walls, hidden between mountains. Even though Kuelap was found 60 years before Machu Picchu it is not as well known. Although through recent discoveries and its history, it has captured the attention of archaeologists and many people around the world. Return to Chachapoyas in the evening. Overnight. Day 12 Chachapoyas – Karajía – Chachapoyas Breakfast in the hotel. Departure in our 4x4 units towards the small town of Cruzpata. Place in which we will start our trekking, after 30 minutes we will arrive at the Karajía sarcophagus of 2.5 metres tall. After a short visit to this place located north to the small town of Lamud, return to Chachapoyas. Arrival at the hotel and overnight (B). Note: We recommend taking with you a Box Lunch for this expedition ( Not included in the price).
Day 13 Chachapoyas - Chiclayo Breakfast in the hotel. At fixed time we depart from Chachapoyas to the city of Chiclayo, 6 hrs drive aprox. Arrival in Chiclayo city. Check inn and overnight. (B) Note: We recommend you to take with you Box Lunch (Not included in the price).
Day 14 Chiclayo - Lima Breakfast in the hotel. At fixed time departure from Chiclayo in 4x4 units to Lima. 10 hrs drive, arrival in Lima. Check inn at the hotel and Overnight (B).
Day 15 Lima Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport in order to board your international flight (B).
