Hangar One Checklist: Lock-It-Down with these comfy food recipes 8 countries to visit before the next pandemic Beating COVID - 19; Health Tips As Muslims, we need to up our equality game. Here is why.

Al Masjid al-Nabawi Al-Masjid an-NabawÄŤ, is one of the most serene places on earth and if you've been lucky enough to visit there, you'll know exactly what we mean. The current mosque is more than 100 times the size of the original building. This means that the current mosque covers almost the entire area of the old city itself. This is evident from the fact that whereas Jannat Al-Baqi cemetery was on the outskirts of the city during the time of the Prophet it now borders the precincts of the current mosque grounds.

Thailand as a whole has a little more than 3,100 cases, with nearly 60 deaths. Authorities said they were able to take the latest steps because the country has now been through six weeks with fewer than ten new cases of COVID-19 on most days.

BRITISH HOLIDAYMAKERS COULD ENJOY OVERSEAS BREAKS SOON Foreign holidays may restart as early as July 4 for British holidaymakers under plans being drawn up by the government. The British PM, Boris Johnson, is expected to announce on June 29 that agreements have been made for socalled air bridges with a “small number” of countries with low levels of coronavirus. This would allow families to take foreign holidays without having to self-isolate on their return to the UK. SIGHTS >

BACK TO BALI; TOURISTS MAY BE WELCOME AS EARLY AS OCTOBER Travellers could get a chance to enjoy the paradise like island of Bali as early as October this year. Indonesia's major tourist hub, Bali, has also been successful in containing its coronavirus outbreak, with less than 350 confirmed cases and, at the time of writing, a total of four deaths. The Indonesian island now hopes to welcome tourists back by October, provided its infection rates stay low. Its unclear what the entry requirements will be if restrictions are lifted later this year, or whether Bali will accept travelers from regions badly affected by the pandemic.

Construction for the Universal Hip Hop Museum, a museum dedicated to the history and prominent figures of hip hop music is expected to opening sometime in 2023 in celebration of the musical genre’s 50th anniversary. The museum is a collaboration between Microsoft and the MIT Center for Advanced Virtuality and artists Grand Wizzard Theodore, Kurtis Blow, Ice-T, Nas, Q-Tip, and LL Cool J., among others. There is currently a pop-up museum in the Bronx Terminal Market, but the new location will be permanent.

OUR MODEST FASHION PICKS BY AMBER SWEETMAN

Major brands are now beginning to expand into Modest fashion including top designers such as DKNY and large sports conglomerates such as Nike. High street shops including H&M have also tagged along. With a selection of classy, sporty, fashionable, and affordable items now available on the market, enjoy dressing up in style with a selection of our favorite picks.

Nike Swim Hijab One of Nike's very first items of modest fashion, which has made significant headlines and had large amounts of media coverage due to its simplicity yet brilliant idea. The line, which includes the Nike Victory Full-Coverage swimsuit along with different swimming styles — the Nike Victory Swim Hijab, the Nike Victory Swim Tunic Top and the Nike Victory Swim Leggings — combines modest swimwear with style creativity. The sleek silhouette provides a gamechanging alternative for women athletes looking for full coverage and a full range of movement in the water. This item is perfect for mum with younger children attending swimming lessons, or those looking to swim on a regular basis.

Inayah A popular and modest fashion line since first launching in 2012, INAYAH has established itself as one of the world’s leading modest fashion brands for women who choose to adopt to a more modest dress code and lfiestyle. With an affordable price point, yet also offering higher and more luxury items, Inayah covers all modest clothing including hijabs and abayas. They aim at designing and producing beautiful modest clothing that allows women to dress comfortably and sophistically, while keeping style in mind. Most of their collections are heavily influenced by the new minimalism fused with classic cuts and beautfiul earth tones.

H&M Modest Collection H&M, the popular global retailer has become the latest fashion giant to launch a trendy collection of clothes. In an attempt to start catering for a wider range of customers from different backgrounds and of different faiths and religions, H&M stated: "We want to be able to offer something for everyone." This is probably one of the most affordable ranges in one of the most popular mainstream high street shops. A range of their maxi dresses and skirt options are priced as low as

Travel In A Post Covid World 8 WAYS TRAVEL COULD CHANGE IN THE FUTURE

It’s times like this when I wish we had a little magic ball to see into the future and how the new world order is going to look. Travel is going to change post Coronavirus once airlines start flying again and in these unprecedented times, none of us really know when a new normal will begin. Whether you’re a Muslim couple looking forward to your honeymoon or a family trip that probably won’t be possible this summer, Covid-19 hasn’t and won’t discriminate

Entry Restrictions

This irony of the situation is that countries that would normally have open entry for European and North American travellers will be carefully screening who will be able to enter the country to protect their country from another outbreak. However for many tourism destinations, they are super

reliant

tourists

from

developed outbound markets so they will want them to return to boost their tourism sector. It’s likely we will see a phased easing of entry restrictions, with those countries showing a decline in infections being allowed to enter first.

You’ll Be Packing Differently

Do you pack an extra pair of underwear in your hand luggage? Well,

even

before

Covid-19

you

probably should have. Once we’re able to travel again, you’ll be thinking about a lot more than a pair of pants. If you’re travelling for a week to Thailand, then it may be worth consider packing for 10 days instead. Not everything of course, there are

who

The

antibody tests that have been touted as possibly reliable may be the only option until a vaccine is created. And then, could a Covid-19 vaccination be a mandatory vaccine for travel? Travel Insurance

Honestly, I loathe those two words. Travel Insurance is a must have that more than often fails to deliver. It comes to your rescue when you are admitted to hospital because you slipped on some ice cream, or helps you buy a new suitcase when the airline cracks your nice new Victorinox suitcase, but in the case of the Covid-19, it’s been as useful as the ink it’s printed with. However, I still believe it’s a necessity when travelling. Whilst it may be a bit more expensive, opt for more robust travel insurance that will cover you in case of an extended stay in the Maldives at £900 a night to buy you time to organise repatriation if you need it.

than having to deal with each of these individually yourself.

Of all the ways to travel, there is little doubt in my mind that cruising will be the hardest hit. Yes, there will be some amazing deals to come from the cruise industry, who only really started to get back to being popular in the last decade or so. However, no matter how good the deal is, if Coronavirus is still lurking, the impact on stranded ships and the people on board has been a PR disaster.

EXPLORINGÂ

FINLAND

There are many reasons to fall in love with Finland and the Finns. From their bright and bubbly personality, to their breathtaking scenery, Finland is one of Europe's must visit countries. Possibly the best place in the world to go skiing, with a 6 month + skiing season, skiers, adventure seeking travellers, and those with the travel bug will want Finland on their bucket list. Enjoy fresh air, amazing coffee shops, a safe place, bold designs, and events galore. Dubbed the happiest country in the world, Finland will definitely provide you with the 'happiest' holiday you'll ever have. Enjoy roaming the streets, exploring their trails, swimming in the lakes, and don't forget, the Northern Lights. Whether you're looking to relax, seek an adventure, or enjoy the best of both worlds, you won't regret making Finland your destination of choice.

DID YOU KNOW? There are exactly 187,888 lakes (which are larger than 500 m²) and 179,584 islands within the territory of Finland! Both are world records. Lake Saimaa is the biggest in Finland, the fourth largest in Europe, and the second largest in the European Union at 1,700 square miles. Finland also has nine more lakes which stretch to over 100 square miles. However, when it comes to their depths, most of Finland’s lakes are surprisingly shallow, having been formed from glaciation during the last ice age. Only three lakes in Finland are deeper than 300. There are also 95,000 islands off Finland’s coast, mostly small, making it a navigational challenge for sailors.

PEOPLE OF FINLAND Finland is often ranked number one for being the happiest country in the world. Many believe this is due to one simply thing, their lifestyle. Finns have high incomes, health care for all, and a top education system. 3 good essential reasons that play very important roles in ones life. Finland is also famous for it's stunning Lapland, the northern lights, saunas, quirky food and for being the home of Santa Claus!

WHEN TO VISIT FINLAND From September to March, visitors are guaranteed a splendid show of the Northern Lights almost every other night, if the sky stays clear. These lights are sometimes visible from some parts of the south but only for 10 to 20 nights. Also in the north of Finland is Utsjoki, where the sun stays above the horizon for more than two months, from mid-May to the start of July, giving the country its nickname, The Land of the Midnight Sun. There are many hotels and camping sites that cater people wanting to see the lights. One can also send an email to the Finnish Meteorological Institute to sign up for the Northern Lights email alerts.

As a Muslim traveller, there are many things you'd be curious about before coming to Finland. Being one of the most northern countries in the world, Finland has ever-changing climatic conditions, with almost twothirds of it blanketed by thick woodlands. Since it is far from the mainstream tourist routes, Finland remains a relatively unknown corner of Europe. From majestic forests

and

beautiful

natural

landscapes

to

entertaining and art-filled cities like Helsinki and Turku, this European land is a dream come true for a travel enthusiast. Finnish lakes in the west, and the northern lights and Europe's best winter sports in the north. Whether you visit the country during summers or winters, you'll find no lack of exciting activities to keep you occupied.

White-coloured tickets can be purchased in singles or in a book of 10 (“carnet”) for €16 at the ticket offices or machines in metro stations.
