SOCIAL ADVOCACY
Social Advocacy meets regularly throughout the school year to learn about and address social justice issues. The purpose of the club is to advocate for a safer, fairer, and better community for all. The group works on a variety of activism projects based on student interest and experience. In the past, students have worked on initiatives related to mental health, gender equity, 2SLGBTQI+ rights, environmental sustainability, racism, fast fashion, and menstruation education, to name a few. The club is open to students of all ages and experiences.

Dances, fun days, intramurals, fundraising, clubs, spirit days, and the All College banquet are all the responsibility of Luther College’s Student Representative Council (SRC). Members of the SRC are elected by the student body at the end of each year for the following school year. Positions on the council include President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and MembersAt-Large. Representatives from each grade also assist the SRC as grade representatives, which are chosen at the beginning of each year. In addition to organizing student events, the SRC serves as the voice of the student body. It also organizes fundraising activities within the school for different charities.
Tatler
The Tatler is the Luther College High School student newspaper. We encourage a wide range of contributions, including articles, editorials, interviews, reviews, humour, creative writing, comics, photographs, and art work.

Traditional Asian Games Club
Students explore several traditional Asian games such as Mahjong, Backgammon, and Go.
Writing Club
Writing Club is dedicated to exploring creativity. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings where we practice and discuss how to improve our skills as students and writers. We open ourselves up to fiction, novels, short stories, poetry, scripts, essays and make regular submissions to the Tatler. We provide a friendly, enlightening environment in which we enhance creative skills for potential authors or students hoping to feel more confident in English class.
Yarn Club
The Yarn Club brings together students who are interested in working with yarn. All students and teachers are welcome regardless of experience, as everyone is willing to help those with little or no prior knowledge. Members crochet or knit items for charitable organizations. Winter clothing items such as mitts, hats, and scarves have been donated to organizations that, in turn, provide the items to those in need.
