Title(s): “In Our Hands (Left)” “In Our Hands (Right)” Medium: Aerosol Stencil and Screen Print on Plexiglas Dimensions: 48” x 96” each Statement: These pieces are a meditation on the apparent dualities (natural vs. synthetic, liberal vs. conservative, right vs. wrong, etc.) which seem to define the spectra in which consciousness operates. They are the first pieces of my body of work incorporating the use of Plexiglas as a base material. The intention is the unifying effect created when translucent materials incorporate light from their environments.
