of LIFE
The feeling she feels is unexplainable, she’s confused and having really strong emotions she never felt before. She knew that this era wasn't the same one back then. The pad isn’t that comfortable as a nappy was. The pad doesn’t have the same genuine comfort and care as a nappy was. She knew that this is something she should face, she knew that her little girl chapter has come to an end.
The period of her new chapter becomes evident not just on her emotional progress but also on her body. It was hard, especially when she meets people everyday and then points out what has changed. But her going to school and seeing a lot of students that felt and experienced the exact same thing became the comfort she truly needed. It was a big hug for her, knowing that she’s normal and assuring that there's nothing wrong with what she feels. But she was a strong woman that will face the obstacles eye-to-eye and overcome them with a smile. She is still new to the concept of “developing to be a woman” but she knows that her life isn’t about finding what you seek but rather facing what you fear. She stood confidently and embraced her changes like how a mother embraces her child. To embrace all the change, to accept the growth, to write a new chapter, to run for a journey, to discover new things –––That is the growth of a woman her mother aspires her to be, and she is still on her quest, but her being able to face these changes dead to the eye is an example of true score bullseye. All these she counts as wonders of life.

QCHD, PBSP, Village Chief, Willy Cara sponsors Free TB Screening, Xray
Free tuberculosis (TB) screening and X-ray were conducted in collaboration with the Quezon City Health Department (QCHD), Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), and village chief Willy L. Cara on March 24 at Brgy. Bagong Silangan Health Center.
QCHD provided a mobile X-ray van that was used in conducting the tuberculosis (TB) screening and chest X-ray for all residents.
The initiative was anchored on promoting lung health for residents of Barangay Bagong Silangan, with the theme “Ayos Ka Lungs Ba?” The screening to determine whether individuals are positive for TB were made possible by using mobile X-rays equipped with computer-aided detection or artificial intelligence in just 5 to 10 minutes.
They conducted this free X-ray screening in collaboration with Quezon City Health Department (QCHD) and Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) to check if a person has tuberculosis (TB) or not. Also, conducting this active case finding helps them find a person with and immediately cure them.
