Celine’s sense of wariness: A sound of despair and impatience, the perfect recipe for a stampede. It was noisy and tense all throughout. Likewise, Celine felt frustrated about their situation and describes what it feels like to be a survivor “One question that can describe what I felt, ‘What if it might happen again?’ a heartbreaking reality that our home might no longer be the same - and it never will be.” She added.

However, in the midst of devastation and the pandemic, their hearts race and remain alight.

Celine is just one of the survivors of the traumatic typhoon forces that have passed for now, not just survivors but astounding within itself. Finding her way to underline sheer vulnerability and seek courage to such an experience she will never forget for the rest of her life.

When we were kids, we learned how to read, to write and to count. Teachers are our second parents in school. As we grow up, we learn some valuable lessons and try to improve with our teachers who help us understand and resolve our curiosity step by step.

Here at Bagong Silangan High School, teachers wear a different hat in the performance of their duties aside from being a good mentors. They really influence and shape our lives as their students. BSHS’ students are lucky because we have brilliant, caring, and intelligent teachers. They are multi-talented. In fact, they have joined and won different contests and demonstration in both district and division level.
