The event continues with students with beaut and brains walking down the runway to compete for the title of Mr & Ms. Bagong Silangan. Showcasing their sense of fashion with the fresh look of casual and breath-taking sports attire, followed by dashing nightgowns, and q and’s wouldn’t be missing. The contestants who astonishingly won the competition were: Ranni Doll, candidate number six, and Deniel Mapa, candidate number two for Mr. & Ms. Bagong Silangan High School.

After an hour’s break, the pageant for teachers started. They showcased their national Costumes, talents, and their formal wear. In the end, Mr. Rhyan Dequina and Ms. Escala from the MAPEH Department were able to bring home the bacon.

Students and teachers went home with their hands reddened as they couldn’t stop clapping for the students who performed. Aching arms are lingering from holding up their phone to record each performance. A hoarse voice from non-stop cheering, a smile on their faces, and a memorable memory to remember no matter what is bound to happen next.

Like a pin on a calendar, the 14th of April will always have a place in the students’ hearts. Delightful as they can be, a thought stands still.
