Luis Valentino, Chief Academic Officer for Portland Public Schools, is a true visionary in the world of education. With over twenty years of experience, Valentino has a proven record of success in schools from Los Angeles to Portland. Luis attended California State University, where he earned his Masters of Arts in Instructional Technology. From there, Valentino went on to earn his Master of Science in Education Administration from Pepperdine University. Following that, Luis Valentino earned his Ed D in Education Leadership from University of California at Los Angeles. He most recently completed his CAEL, Certificate of Advanced Educational Leadership, through Harvard University in June 2020.
