Converting Times to Hours
In the following worksheet, a student is tracking his community service hours. He records a start time and an end time each day. In cell D4, he writes a formula to record how many hours he worked today. The answer given by the spreadsheet is 1:15 AM. Sometimes, Excel seems like a student who just doesn’t quite get the concept.
