After some experience as an architect I decided to move to Vancouver and follow what I really want to be, an interior designer, with the main purpose of exploring, understand and be involved in the industry in Vancouver.

SANDRISE Hotel Boutique

This project is a private luxury boutique hotel located in Osoyoos Desert, British Columbia. the concept design stands up Its landscape, diversity in fauna and flora. The boutique is designed to frame its natural environment, the garden as the protagonist and heart of the hotel let the guests have a connection with the exterior nature from inside, also through the open spaces and the natural lighting coming into the interior. the total area is 19.000 sq ft with exclusive areas for the guests as outdoor infinity swimming pool, a bar- Restaurant, and a wide spa with the wet area as hot tub, an indoor swimming pool, and sauna, making them feel like they are at home, instilling a sense of peace and belonging in the midst of some of the most diverse natural and historical landscapes of canadá.

The TEA SPA design goes with the concept of nature into the space, the use of brown and grey tones is related with the earth colors. The spa treatments are base on organic products extracted from the Botanic garden and gotten from the shop. that made it a unique and exclusive place.

The lounge area includes a dining area, bar and pool. in summer the glass door is kept open to invite to an open space where all areas are integrated, in winter the restaurant is separated from the pool, however through the glazing the guest has visual contact with the surrounding nature.

With a contemporary style, the design of the store is inspired by the feeling of freshness, the combination of green tones and organic elements such as wood and plants providing vibrations, calm and neutral climates that allow the guest to spend time feeling comfortable. inspired brand that has stood out for its unique designs, that are often used by world-renowned artists. A work of art that is undoubtedly the centre of attention of any outfit as if it were the main actor in a movie. This is why these John Fluevog shoes are presented as the star of the Hollywood show of the 50s surrounded by accessories, furniture, lighting and scenography that highlight their main role.

MOOD BOARD The materials evoke the golden age of Hollywood where the colors and vintage-referenced furniture stand out to represent the glamour of the time. All the decorative elements, display walls, tables and lighting seek to transport the clients to that time, surrounding them with posters and scenography that provide an experience that will make them feel like a star on the set of a great movie.

The collage intention is showing the woman as the protagonist, the designs of john fluevog are focused in making the client feel like a rockstar and like a queen as he said, so it is important to highlight her powerful and the fashion look at the same time being combined with the vintage look. The swimmers show her freedom and revolutionary feeling as the brand

PROPOSAL Will coincide with the open thinking that evokes the brand and the client. the focus will provide an inspirational environment which reflects fashion design trends or bucked them, a space with character and authenticity where the Fluevoggers dare to be themselves without prototypes. The new store will be oriented just for women, to make them feel comfortable and unique like the brand, this will be an unconventional propose which let the client create experiences better than just get a product.

PROPOSAL The project was designed from some marketing statements already developed by the company, the challenge was to create a new space with a contemporary style but at the same time related to the brand standards. The use of bright colours remember the employees and the guest the brand and brings youth and innovative look to space, some materials as the green metallic panel or the concrete accent walls stand out the industrial environment of the productions places where the energy is made.

LUNCH ROOM It is a flexible space, besides to met the kitchen activities, the long table can be used as a temporary workstation, the match of wood, green and a patterned wall give the ambience diversity and youth look.

SMALL MEETING ROOM The small size of this room let the employees have privacy in an informal meeting while the main meeting room is busy. the carpet helps to insolate the noisy that come from the exterior, the blue gives elegance.

INDIVIDUAL SPACE This space is located at the end of the passageway, between the private offices and the cafeteria, it is thought to give an alternative to the guest, after a meeting, to spent a while alone whether to reply a phone call or just to use the laptop.

PROPOSAL Office for 9 people with a waiting area that receives the guests, it is separated by furniture, which has two sides, one of them is the printing area that is a complement to the open office. Besides the circulation is established for a long bench that finishes off in a small coffee. Behind the staircase are the bathroom, which is closed of the meeting room or thinking table, this open space connects the open office with the main office as a point of intersection, and the main office which also has a sofa for the guests.
