The room is furnished with modern pieces to contrast the existing Victorian features. Once again brass is features in this room to follow through from th living room.

The brass adds a striking contrast to the green polished plaster wall and is seen featured in other furnishings in this room.

B ATH R O O M The bathroom design proposed for Lilly and John is quite striking. The colours chosen for this room contrast to the other room proposals for the project. This is to experiment with the contemporary feel the clients wanted to achieve. Other themes such as the brass accents follow on throughout this design, but i’ve chosen to have a little fun with experimenting with contrasting colours. orange walls are the most striking feature to this room, while the green terrazzo contrast the orange. Brass handles, mirror frame and tapware have been chosen for the bathroom to add an extra element. Black subway tiles have also been selected to break up the orange wall and add an additional texture to the room.

D IS P ENS A RY The design for the dispensary was kept quite simple. A custom benchtop has been proposed for Lilly to use as a work bench for her to package her herbal medicines. Storage was also a key element for the design of this room. Beautiful brass and glass joinery has been proposed to store and also display Lillys medicines. A sink has been incorporated into the bech space, for easy clean up and to prevent Lilly from having to move from room to room. Storage within the bech has also been proposed to keep Lillys herbs in a save place. Pendant lights hand from the ceiling to provide lilly with adequate lighting.
