For clarity all accidentals have been indicated except when pitches are tied or immediately repeated, where accidentals continue to apply. Each fragment is played four times, at 1 5 second intervals (i.e. fragement one is played at 00:1 5, 00:30, 00:45 and 01 :00). e fragments themselves are not necessarily 1 5 seconds long, so there will be gaps between them; it is up to the performer whether to hold resonance through these gaps or cut it off. A stopwatch placed on the music stand is recommended for timing. e final repetition of the final fragment will occur aer the end of the tape e keyboard is tuned thus, differences from equal temperament (A440) in cents: C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# B +1 9 +64 +20 +38 +1 9 +1 3 -1 3 -1 9 -38 -20 -64 -1 9 e tape part should be played in stereo and, ideally, on headphones. In the 1 960s Colin Edwards interviewed three people - Alfred Janes, Jennie Ethel Ross, and Ronald Cour - about their mutual friend, poet Dylan omas. Each interview paints a slightly different picture of omas, and by listening to all three we get a more fully realised image. All three interviews are approximately the same length. is led me to compare the distribution of the content, and in particular the instances when someone mentions Dylan by name. Isolating these mentions produced some interesting shapes and patterns, that are then reflected in the keyboard.
