My name is Lucía, I am 22 years old and I was born in Ibiza, Balearic Islands. I currently live in Barcelona and I am studying the third year of product design in Elisava, School of Design. I love animals and I’m a cat fan. I love to respect the environment, that’s why green is also reflected in my career.

I decided to study design when I realized that it was a great opportunity to change the world, that is, design to improve, to create a better future. I have focused on the product because I think I have good ideas to create something innovative or to improve what already exists taking into account environmental factors, basic needs, etc. Also, I like to work with different materials to acquire knowledge of each of them, I would not know how to decide one in particular. It should be noted that I am good at working with wood.

My style is urban and modern. I like to mix the classic with the innovative. Organic shapes with clean and easy tipography. In addition, I identify with simplicity and inconspicuous color tones. I like to address young people because they are the future of society.

I have always considered myself a very positive girl with a lot of desire to learn new things. If I had to define myself in one word, it would be "chameleon", since I adapt easily to any situation, person or project.

Family business, work in food replacement and cashier. It helped me to improve my languages ​​and to relate with people from other countries since it is a tourist trade.

Although it does not have much relation with the design, it helped me to look at all the products and to think about improvements for these or for their packaging. Also how to transport them and place them according to their importance and quality. It has served me for my packaging course.

I am a product design student who is keen to fine an internship in a related field. I am creative, imaginative, reliable and prompt. I am able to work on own initiative or as part of a team and I can deal to graphic duties competently.

SKILLS I am proficient using the following software : ADOBE INDESIGN ADOBE PHOTOSHOP I also confidently use: AUTOCAD

I have notions of: ADOBE ILUSTRATOR RHINOCEROS (grasshopper)

PERSONAL INTERESTS I am a very active girl, I really like sports. I have practiced all my life basketball and three years of motocross.

I have traveled a lot around the world and I would love to continue doing it forever because traveling makes me open so happy, expand my knowledge, know new cultures and new world.

I would also like to acquire working knowledge in different countries of the world to enhance my experience.

I consider myself a very cheerful person, friend of my friends and able to relate very well with any type of person.

I am also hardworking, ambitious and positive.

Side Tables

Si e tables for La Ric rda This project is based on the design of side tables for Ricarda.

Is composed of two pieces. One of the tables is larger than the other, so that one can be placed inside the other, and the user can combine them as he wants. Eitwher inside the other, as a whole, or separately.

Round shape of the envelope is practical and has greater adaptability in space.

The surface is made of marble, exactly of a dark emperor color. The structure is made of sheet metal. It treats of a sheet of a grossor of 1.5 mm.

Due to the choice of materials and the color range we can see that it is a simple design, but at the same time very swanky and exclusive.

Heinz’s gourmet soy bottlle

Product Design 2018

edesign of packa ing of Heinz’s soy bo tle This project is about redesigning the packaging of soy bottle of the Heinz brand, but changing its aesthetic for a gourmet product. A deep investigation of the brand, the product, materials, shapes, colors was done and then several tests were made until we reach the final conclusion.

Its design is simple and sophisticated. Its shape is triangular to apply innovation. The size is perfect to share on the table. The neck has been removed to represent a single piece. Its color is black and the letters are white to enhance Japanese typography. It has a high aesthetic characteristic for an exclusive and swanky product. The lid consists of a tab that opens and closes using only one finger.

Re esign of La anual Alpargatera’s s adrille This project is about the redesign of La Manual Alpargatera.

Our concept was to maintain the tradition and essence of the store but completely change the look and style towards a more youthful and eye-catching atmosphere.

We decided to call it Amanuale.

Since the espadrille is usually a summer shoe, we took it to the concept of ‘Summer Fantasy’, in which the user could decide which would be his personally according to his preferences.

And for that, we decided to create this set of espadrilles that are interchangeable with each other, that is, it consists of three pairs of esparto soles, with three different types of gradient. We decided to keep the esparto so as not to lose the connection with the tradition of the espadrille. Each sole consists of a Velcro system on each side that joins the fabric from side to side, so the user can choose between three different types of fabric to exchange with their soles as desired.

Space

The set of shoes forms a palette of colors with all summer that complement each other. (Yellow, blue and pink).

In the part of the product I worked together with Gabriela GenovĂŠs, in the redesign of the space was commissioned Flavia Gutterman and, finally, in the graphic part worked Marta Torras.
