Uplisting Summary As we start the new year, the uplisting and cross-listing market is still going strong with 5 issuers listing their shares on the NASDAQ in January, raising a combined $97 million. Companies who operate in three different sectors made up the January 2021 class of uplisted companies including from biotechnology, technology and communication. All five of the uplistings and cross-listings included offerings ranging from approximately $9,600,000 to $43,000,000, with a good cross section of investment banking partners including Roth Capital Partners, National Securities Corporation, Colliers Securities, Kingswood Capital Markets, ThinkEquity, Dawson James Securities, Lake Street Capital Markets and H.C. Wainwright & Co, among others. Of these five companies that raised capital in connection with their listing, three included tradeable warrants as part of the transaction. Overall, like the larger capital markets, the uplisting and cross-listing marketplace continues to be extremely active. We anticipate continued active participation for uplistings and cross-listings in the months ahead even if the broader markets begin to slow.

The single largest capital raise this month was from the Biotech sector in the amount of $43 million. The smallest capital raise this month was also from the Biotech sector, raising $9.6 million.
