2003 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS In 2003, LSU set a school record for single-season victories with 13 en route to defeating Oklahoma in the BCS Championship Game for the program’s second national title. Four Tigers earned first-team All-America honors and LSU boasted the nation’s No. 1 defense, allowing only 11.0 points and 252 yards per game.
