Prior to the 2009 season, LSU Basketball fans took part in the voting for all-decade teams from the 1940s to the 2000s, selecting the 10 players who would be eligible for the all-century team ballot. A committee of historians picked the early years (1909-39) team. Dick Maile

Charlie Bozeman — C — 1938-41 — Leading scorer, 1941, 13.4 ppg

Ned Clark — F — 1952-55 — Member of 1953 NCAA Final Four Team.

Arnold “Judge” Bryan — 1935-37 — 1936 SEC scoring record of 207 points.

Frank Brian — F — 1942-43; 1945-47 — First Team All-SEC, 1943

Joe Dean — G — 1950-52 — All-SEC First Team 1952.

Don Chaney — F — 1940-43 -- Second Team All-SEC, 1943

Benny McArdle — G — 1951-54 — AllSEC Second Team, 1953.

Alvin Dark — G — 1942-43 — Team was 19-5 during his two years in the SEC.

Bob Meador — F — 1948-51 — First player to start every game over four years; first player with over 1,000 career points.

Tom Conklin — C — 1959-62 — Leading rebounder in 1960 (7.4) and 1961 (9.0). Ellis Cooper — G — 1961-63 — All-SEC Second Team (AP); Coaches All-SEC Team. Kenny Drost — G — 1965-67 — Averaged team best 16.5 points per game in 1967. Maury Drummond — C/F — 1961-63 — 16th all-time in rebounds at LSU (736 in 72 games).

Lynn Moon — C — 1956-59 — Best season averaged 10 points, 6.4 rebounds in 1959.

Ralph Jukkola — F — 1967-69 — Second best single season field goal percentage mark of 63.8 percent in 1968.

Wayne Munson — F — 1957-59 — Averaged best of 10.2 points and 10.3 rebounds in 1958.

Dick Maile — F — 1963-65 — First Team All-SEC 1964, ‘65 ... Rebound average 10.4 for career.

Bob Pettit — F — 1952-54 — AllAmerica First Team 1953, 1954 ... Fifth all-time in LSU point (1,916), third scoring average (27.4). Member 1953 NCAA Final Four Team.

Pete Maravich — G — 1968-70 — National Player of the Year 1969, 1970. Member of Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. All-time NCAA Career Scoring leaders with 3,667 points, an average of 44.2 points for 83 games

Don Sebastian — C — 1953-56 — Averaged 7.4 points, 1955; 11.5 points, 1956 Roger Sigler — F — 1953-57 — All-SEC First Team, 1956.

George Nattin — G — 1960-62 — AllSEC AP first team, Coaches team in 1961. Dave Ramsden — C — 1967-69 — Best season 1969 averaging 10.3 ppg, hitting single season field goal record of 67.5 percent. Bill Wilson — C — 1963-65 — 28th on school rebound list with 543 in 62 games (8.7 rpg).
