Postgame Traffic Exiting the Stadium Important note: LSU uses a contraflow system for cars exiting the lots on Gourrier Avenue after games. It is important for fans to follow the direction of police officers. Fans should not start the contra-flow process without the instruction of police officers. LSU Police will solely determine when contra-flow begins and ends after games. Cars in paid lots on Gourrier Avenue Paid lots: Alex Box Lot, Champions Lot, Bullpen Lot, Home Run Village All automobiles in paid parking lots around Alex Box Stadium will be directed east to Nicholson Drive. For these lots, both lanes of traffic on Gourrier Avenue will be directed one-way to Nicholson Drive. Cars in the left lane on Gourrier may turn left (north) onto Nicholson Drive toward downtown or proceed straight onto Burbank. Cars in the right lane will be required to turn right (south) onto Nicholson Drive toward Brightside Lane/Lee Drive. Cars in free lots on Gourrier Avenue All automobiles in free lots on Gourrier Avenue will be directed west to River Road. For these lots, both lanes of traffic on Gourrier Avenue will be directed one-way to River Road. Cars in the left lane on Gourrier will be required to turn left (south) onto River Road toward Brightside Lane. Cars in the right lane will be required to turn right (north) onto River Road toward Skip Bertman Drive and downtown. Vehicles in Lot D Vehicles in Lot D on the corner of Nicholson Drive and Skip Bertman Drive may turn left or right onto Skip Bertman Drive or right onto Nicholson Drive. < Refer to Post-Game Traffic Map for more details.
