The "Omaha Era" team -announced during the LSUMississippi State series in May 2008 -- is composed of former Tigers who played at LSU from 1984 to the present. The selection of the squad coincided with LSU's final season in 70-year-old Alex Box Stadium. The team was selected in online voting by fans at www.LSUsports.net.
