The ID Mate Quest is a portable tool that helps users access items with a simple scan of a bar code. 8 GB memory card comes with a database of over 2,700,000 grocery, pharmacy, and music items already installed! For items not in the database, you can add your own recorded information. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity give direct access to internet resources for updating the data base and researching unidentified items. Integrated camera allows for currency identification and document reading. MP3 capabilities allow the user to store and access music and audio files. Also includes 100 extra labels for labeling items with no bar code, earphone and microphone jacks, high capacity Li-Po rechargeable battery and charger, and carrying case.

The PenFriend Audio Labeler from RNIB can help you label anything in your home with your own recorded messages. Labels are recorded on the PenFriend wand and associated with a sticker that you can affix anywhere. Touch the PenFriend to the sticker, and your message is played back. Label food, medicine, files, or even leave a message for a caregiver. PenFriend comes with 127 mixed sized labels which can be re-recorded. The PenFriend can also be used as an MP3 player. Total storage time is 70 hours for recorded messages or MP3 files.
Used as an add-on to an existing Milestone 312 (see page 18), the Woodscan turns your Milestone 312 into a talking bar code reader. Woodscan comes with a database of over 1,000,000 products. If a bar code is not in the database, use your Milestone to record your own message, or to append additional information to an existing product. Milestone 312 not included.
