Dedicated Faculty La Salle College High School is fortunate to welcome the following new faculty members to our school community: Barb Chesnik joins the David Program faculty. Mrs. Chesnik was a teacher and administrator. Barb holds degrees from Penn State and Chestnut Hill College. • Full load as Learning Specialist Jason Eisele joins our Social Studies faculty this year. A graduate of St. Mary’s (CA) and UC San Diego, Jason comes to us from La Salle High School in San Diego where he also served as Associate Director of Athletics and Chair of the Social Studies Department. • Teaching Psychology and World Civilizations Returning to La Salle, this time in the Science Department, is Vishal Patel. Vish has taught at La Salle (math) and in recent years in science at Chestnut Hill Academy and Prestige Academy Charter in Wilmington. Vish holds degrees from Temple, Arcadia and Penn.

Under the “new faces in new places” category are a number of faculty. Marty Jackson takes over as Chair of Guidance and will welcome Tony Resch as the new freshman counselor. Reappearing as La Salle Athletic Director is Joe Parisi. Vernard Abrams is now our Director of Diversity. Gerard Brett, Bill Geiger, and Gerry Hartey move into department chair roles in College Counseling, World Languages and English, respectively. Last, but certainly not least, Brothers Carl Clayton and Jim Rieck will assume the booster-nudger-guide-counselor role for some of our junior students. Good luck to all in their new roles. Joining us as La Salle Alumni Volunteers are Michael McCabe ’08 and Sean Montgomery ’08. Mike graduated from La Salle University and will be helping with Social Studies, Forensics, and Campus Ministry. Sean is a graduate of the University of Dayton and brings his talents in art and service to his alma mater.

• Teaching Physics and Chemistry A new face in the math department this year is Bob Zanneo. Bob is a newly minted graduate of De Sales University, and prior to that, attended Fr. Judge HS in Philadelphia. • Teaching Geometry and Algebra 1
