B.S.U.jM.C.C. In Living Color n 1991路92, the Black Student Union not only expanded its name, but it also ex' panded its raciel diversity. This year the
.U. added M.ec., which stands for MultiJltural Club. This addition truly gets across nat the group stands for: a variety of races :lrking toward a common goal of serving hers in the: community. Under the new dire:ction of moderator Mrs. mcy Zoeltsch, the B.S.U.jM.C.C. increased ~ membership by including not only Mrican路 T1erlctlns but also Bolivians, Filipinos, and .ians. This mix of races allowed the group
to learn more about other cultures, and to address the issues facing minority groups in
today's society. The group networked with other groups in and out of school to try to spread their public services to other people. The B.S.U.(M.C.C. ;,150 raised money in school for the homeless and held their second annual basketball tour路 nament. The seniors. who helld the organi-
zation, hope that the success lind prosperity of the 8.S.U./ M.C.C. will continue long after they leave. by William L. Nichols
