Play the instrumental “Song of Love” [CD 2, Track 2] as children enter. Have children turn to page 15 and look at the picture. Ask: What is this child doing? (praying) Say: People have many questions about God. God sent Jesus to answer these questions, and Jesus taught us how to pray to God.

Ways to Pray Remind children of the four ways to pray: Please/Thanks/Ow!/Wow! Review the definition of each. Ask volunteers to give examples of each type of prayer. Say: God listens to all our prayers.
