Rise up in splendor, Jerusalem! Your light has come, the glory of the Lord shines upon you. —ISAIAH 60:1
“And behold, the star that [the magi] had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was.” God still uses light to draw us to him, to help us find our way, to lead us through the night to secret, holy places and the company of every possible saving grace. He uses the light of the sacraments and prayer, the light of his word, and the light in you.
