We paid attention to our tailoring and seams in order to achieve cuts that are optimized for shredding. Snowboarding involves lots of moving and twisting. Badly cut jackets get left behind, becoming tangled and riding up. Now you can tweak that method all the way without having to sort your jacket out on the ride out. SMART PLEATS™
We are using SMART PLEATS to give or jackets and pants a little extra room in all the places you need to bend most. That is why you will find SMART PLEATS in the elbow, new armpits and hood on most of our jackets and pants. The pleats store a little extra fabric. When you are bending, tweaking or stretching the fabric folds making it feel as if your jacket isn’t there.
BAT PITS™
BATPITS are pleats in the underarm.When your arms are lowered, the BATPITS are folded away, when you raise your arms, for example when tweaking a method, the pleats open, stretching the underarm region and allowing you to push that tweak all the way out without lifting the hem of the jacket. Now you no longer need to fix your jacket on the ride out. Keep your afterbang with BATPITS!
HELMET HOODINI 2™
We widened the hood so that it comfortably covers a helmet, but we also widened the collar, giving the hood the ability to turn with your head and helmet without garroting you. Now you can finally ride in a helmet without looking like an idiot! Of course the hood is fully adjustable and so can be easily fitted to an unhelmeted head using the drawstrings.
FREE ZIPS™
Every rider knows how much it sucks when your vent zips get stuck open on a cold windy chairlift. So we fixed that. Our zips work every time, don’t get stuck and can even be operated one handed. Get us!
PANT ELEVATOR™
Control your pants with elastic cords that run from the inside of the cargo pockets down to the hems at the bottom of each leg. Simply reach inside the cargo pocket and pull on the cord to draw the hem towards the pocket. The cord can then be locked using the clip. This means no more dirty ripped up hems and no more bending down to turn your trousers up.
The DORA JACKET 3 is a fully taped lightweight snowboard jacket. The bonded tech shell will keep the wind and weather off, both riding and sitting on the chair. The cut of the DORA JACKET 3 is fitted, but long. This means the hem always covers the waistline of your pants without the jacket looking boxy. New smart pleated BAT PITS work with our STAYIN-PLACE-FIT to take the 3rd edition of this proven model to the next level by making it even more comfortable then its predecessors. You can wear this jacket a size up to go for the extra tall look of a bigger jacket that is still more fitted. The LIMA PANT 3 is functionally built and casually styled. Fully teched out construction with straight cut jeans style. The leg is cut straight from the ankle to the crotch and is designed to snugly fit over your boot without having to resort to the dreaded ‘mega boot cut’ aka ‘soul man style’. A classic five pocket design with an embossed leather patch at the waist, chunky belt loops and an inside lace belt complete the ‘jeans’ styling. Of course, like jeans, the look can be personalized by size with emos in XS and gangstas rocking XLs.
