This is m personal work during the research activity “Postcards from the future“ as a part of the Venice Biennale of Architecture 2014_fundamentals.
The work was presented in Arsenalle on 31/10/14 as a part of the Venice Architecture Biennale, by Professor Paolo Belloni of the Polytechnic of Milan, in collaboration with Stefano Rolla and an international group of students. The work focuses on a retrospective look to the future of the next 50 years.
The research proposes a plurality of topics and “visions” in the limit between utopia and distopia, realism and surrealism. Smart City, Public Space, Urban Voids, Mobility, Reusing Ruins, Tourism, Housing, Watersquare, Terraces, Urban Density,Topography, Waterscapes, Earthquake Are some of the topics faced in this work. The work uses the power of “cultural surfing” to propose and immediate lecture of the reality to go deeper in some potentialities of the city.
