^ The SeaCore System engine and Bravo sterndrive includes closed-cooling, air-actuated water drain, freshwater flush port, stainless steel package and extended warranty. * MerCruiser offers a variety of easy water drain systems depending upon application, design and in some cases by boat model. The Alpha drain systems typically involve turning a handle or removing quick-connect hoses to drain. The Bravo/Inboard water drain systems are also found on most closed-cooled models and are activated by pressurized air. Some OEM customers request these systems be removed.
