The boutique property is family owned and offers a time capsule Guest Ranch experience with modern-day creature comforts. A winding path of wildflowers, lined by Aspen trees leads to 10 cozy log cabins and main lodge. Accommodating up to 60 guests per week, the guest to staff ratio provides excellent customer service during your week-long stay.

Whether you want to take advantage of our outdoor opportunities, saddle up for the most stunning rides you'll ever experience, or just forget your cares as you meet new friends in the Lodge, your Lost Creek vacation will be just what you need.

Cowboy coffee over an open flame is the perfect way to kick off a day spent in the saddle!

The fan favorite breakfast cookouts offer comradery around the campfire featuring traditional Dutch oven breakfast items.

Revel in made-to-order, flavorful, elevated mountain fare.

Our 2023 Executive Chef for the season is Alex Thomas Smith of Asheville, NC. While Chef Alex’s favorite faire includes modern spins on southern classics, he’s been focused on wild game in Arkansas at a seasonal Duck Hunting operation and we look forward to his fresh take on elevated mountain cuisine incorporating regional proteins and local produce.

The comfortably appointed Lodge is a gathering space for meals and activities.

Outfitted with regional taxidermy and western art, the best place to watch the sun set behind the Tetons is from the Lodge and deck.

Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the comfort of the dining hall. Several times per week open fire meals are also offered from our BBQ area. On the go? Boxed meals for picnics, hikes, or saddlebag snacks are also available during your stay.

A short walk from the Lodge, the serene Spa, Hot Tub and Pool offer another peaceful vantage point of the Teton range.

Start your day with a fresh espresso or matcha, followed by a fitness class or a massage.

Each day offers new opportunities to relax and enjoy a pristine setting in the Tetons. Guests can fully customize their week by selecting which activities are of interest and how they spend time horseback. From slow and scenic trails through Grand Teton National Park to advanced all-day lunch rides through the Snake River Valley, we also offer onsite Lessons and Team penning cattle in the arena. All rides are led by friendly, experienced Wranglers who matchmake the perfect mount from our string of 80+ horses.

History of the Ranch:

The original 160-acre tract was claimed in 1922, later becoming Block S Ranch owned by Albert Schwabacher.

In 1968 Gerald T. Halpin acquired the ranch and Lost Creek Ranch has been in operation ever since.

Mr. Halpin always had a passion for open spaces and cherished the natural integrity of the landscape. He was a founding member of the Grand Teton National Park Foundation in 1997, later donating a portion of Lost Creek Ranch to the park.
