Garage Screen
Kinetic Hues is inspired by Wassily Kandinsky’s painting, Colored Sticks. working with Matthew Sebiri, we created a shading and auditory screen that enhances the views, sounds, and aesthetic of the 1111 lincoln road garage. The study of the colors and sticks, led to a motor driven structure while the study of structure and void focused on the creation of space and shade. The merging of both these studies paved the way to a model of color and reflection that moves in accordance to the wind circulation. Kinetic Hues is a free flowing spectacle to eyes inside Lincoln 1111 and beyond.

Lake Osecola is the central keystone element to the Coral Gables campus of the University of Miami.. Working in Collaboration with Ben Skavnak, we aimed at creating a floating pathway inspired by the Banyan tree that mirrors its position on the lake. The banyan trees prop roots suffice for a solid connection to the ground as represented under the bridge. A new florida mangrove wetland would act as a back drop to the new circulation path across the northwestern end of Lake Osceola.
