After lying about having depression to get a nose job on the NHS, Carla Bellucci is now scrounging for a sexy body overhaul

arla Bellucci sparked controversy last year when she brazenly boasted about faking depression in order to con the NHS into giving her a £7k new nose . Since then, the shameless mum of three has dubbed herself the “ Queen of Blag ging” and next month she ’s jetting off to Turkey to enjoy yet more free surger y, including a second boob job and a controversial Brazilian bum lift –regarded as the most dangerous nip/tuck op . Carla, 37, sa ys, “I’m one of life’s tak ers. I f I think I can get something for free, I’ll do m y best to get it, and I don ’t see anything wrong with that. If y ou don ’t ha ve the same view as me , y ou’re a mug. “I’m even hoping to get a second nose job on the NHS . I w ent back to m y doctor in C

November and complained that the one I got before wasn’t what I wanted –it was a bit wonky, not perfect. They said it needed a year to settle down, but I’ve got an appointment in April to discuss it further and I’m hoping they’ll give me another one. “I don’t care if people don’t like me for it – at least I get what I want.”

HATE MAIL Carla, who lives in a four-bed house in Hertfordshire paid for with housing benefit, has been bombarded with hate mail since she went public about her nose job in February 2019. She says, “I’d been to a Harley Street surgeon who quoted me £7,000 for a nose job. I only wanted to straighten out a slight bump and that seemed like a lot of money to fork out. So I lied to a doctor and told him my nose was

making me depressed. I flir ted a bit with him as w ell and he wrote a letter referring me for surgery.” Carla – who is mum to Jermaine, 17, Tanisha, 15, and Jayden, 12 – has already had a boob job, which she paid for herself, 11 years ago. But next month, she is going to Turkey for her next round of free surgery. She will also get free flights, villa accommodation and meals.

RISKY PROCEDURE She says, “My boobs are OK, but I want to go up a cup, from a 34D to a 34E. I’d seen a documentary about this Turkish clinic where people go for surgery abroad, so I decided to chance it and email the surgeon to ask if I could have

any procedures for free.

“Because I’m w ell-known, he

said he ’d operate –as long as I

post a few pictures on Instagram.

Once again, I’ve proved that

if you don’t ask, you don’t get.”

She naively adds, “I know the

Brazilian butt lift is a dangerous

procedure, and people have died

during the surgery, but I’m sure

it’s wor th the risk. M y bum is

saggy and needs a lift.”

It’s the latest in a long line of

blags on the back of her notoriety.

She says, “I know it seems unfair, and I admit I don’t deserve it, but if I can get free stuff then I will.

“Anyone else could do the same – there’s nothing stopping them. People can hate me all they want, but I’ll be the one having the last laugh with my new boobs and bum!” By Mel Fallowfield

SISTER ACT

One’s become a household name as a T V presenter following a hit music career, and the other has been catapulted to fame after appearing on Love Island. Now, Closer chats to siblings Rochelle Humes and Sophie Piper about their lives in the spotlight

Rochelle: ‘I’ve h ad impostor sy ndrome a ll m y life!’

he’s gone from being one fifth of hit girl band The Saturdays to carving out a successful career as a TV presenter – but Rochelle Humes admits that, despite her success , she hasn’t always had the confidence she has now.

She says, “Embracing myself has come with a lot of growth. I’ve had impostor syndrome pretty much my whole adult life. I didn’t even know what it was until last year, when everyone made it a ‘thing’. I feel like that all the time! But I’ve learned that you have to do something that absolutely terrifies you. It will only terrify you because you want it to go well.” S

APPREHENSION

Rochelle, 30, rose to fame in the early

2000s in pop band S Club Juniors,

and then later found stardom with

The Saturdays. The five-piece girl

band sold an impressive 8 million

records before their split in 2014.

She now hosts Ninja Warrior UK ,

and regularly guest-hosts This Morning .

In 2018 , she was chosen to stand in for

Holly Willoughby when she replaced

She says, “I spoke to Holly before I stood in for her, and she said, ‘I’m so scared about filling in for Ant’. I said, ‘Are you joking? I have to fill in for you!’ I remember feeling terrified. But everyone said I should do it and that I’d enjoy it. And I really did – I loved it! I’m pleased I did it. Nothing good comes out of staying in your comfort zone.” Rochelle married JLS star Marvin Humes in 2012, and the couple now have daughters Alaia-Mai, six, and Valentina, two – with Rochelle describing motherhood as “the hardest job of all”.

BODY CONFIDENCE Refreshingly, she says she didn’t suffer body-confidence issues in her twenties. Now, becoming a mum has given her a whole new appreciation of her body. She says, “To me, body confidence has come with being a parent. I want my kids to embrace themselves. It’s practising what I preach.

“I’ve not been massively insecure in my body, because I’ve always just got on with it. I was in a girl band for a lot of years, around four other gorgeous humans. But I thought, ‘Never mind, we’ve got a show to do.’ I think finding myself was definitely becoming a mum, and knowing what my body can do and what it’s capable of.” By Julie Ann Trainor

INTERVIEW

Sophie: ‘She’s always been there for me’

After she was thrust into the spotlight following her stint in the Love Island villa this year, Sophie Piper says her big half-sister, Rochelle Humes, has given her advice on how to handle fame, after they reuinted a few years ago when former Love Island winner Kem Cetinay put them in touch.

Sophie, 21, says, “Roche has told me to just be myself in this industry. That’s the best advice anyone could give someone, really. I’m so close to her. As a big sister, she’s always been there for me, and I’m so grateful for the advice. It’s nice to have her support.”

SCARY Sophie was one of the Islanders on the first-ever winter version of the reality show, charming fans with her laid-back persona and her on-off romance with Connor Durman.

Viewers were also surprised by the similarities between the sisters, with one posting, “Sophie is the image of Rochelle – both so beautiful!” Sophie admits she found the thought of spending three weeks in a swimsuit on national television daunting – but adds that, like Rochelle, she doesn’t dwell on her insecurities.

She says, “It was scary being in a bikini every day, but you have to try to be body confident. Obviously, I – and probably everybody else – have stuff about our bodies we don’t like. I have lumps and bumps I dislike, but I try not to worry.”

CASUALLY DATING Looking to the future, Sophie, who is “casually dating” Connor now they’ve both left the villa, says she hasn’t got a set career path she wants to follow. But she reveals she’d be open to launching a Kardashian-style reality show with Rochelle and their other sister, Lili.

She says, “There’s so much to look forward to. I can’t wait for the other Islanders to get out of the villa. I don’t know what’ll happen next for me. It’d be so funny doing a reality show with my sisters – that would be hilarious!” By Lily Smith
