Please Note: firewood is provided and groups are expected to obey fire rules and restrictions at all times.

Pelton Playing Field

Capture the flag, team-building activities, soccer, and more! The playing field is perfect for many types of outdoor activities. The field cannot be reserved and is granted on a first-come, firstserved basis. Groups should bring their own sports equipment. Wheelchair-accessible male and female washrooms with showers are located at the playing field.

Rope Ferry

Hop on the pull ferry to make your way across Loon Lake, and go for a hike once you get to the other side! The ferry can hold up to 10 people, and you will need at least a few hands to help pull you across!

Timber Cruiser Circuit

Loon Lake is excited to offer our new outdoor natural fitness playground that stretches along a 2.5 km forest trail. Stop along one of our six stations and test your climbing, balancing, and pulling skills. Feeling tired? Feel free to walk along the trail and learn about the local ecology.

Amphitheatres

Overlooking the beautiful lake, our amphitheaters have plenty of outdoor seating. The Koerner Theatre is equipped with a gas fire place and is reserved for guests staying at the Koerner Lodge. The Lakeside Theatre has a wood-burning fire pit and is a shared activity space. These spaces are perfect for meetings, story telling, and show productions.

Docks

Evoke old memories from your childhood or create new ones while enjoying the docks at Loon Lake. Be sure to keep your eye out for our friendly Loons that can be commonly spotted diving in the middle of the lake.
