Dates Mondays, September 17–November 12 6–8:30 pm, 9 sessions Fee $159 Where Acer Room Beginners and more accomplished artists interested in mastering the art of plant illustration will enjoy this course. Beginners will receive instruction in color mixing and watercolor techniques. More advanced students will be able to work at their own pace receiving instruction in composition, color, and steps to achieving a finished botanical painting. A supply list will be included with your confirmation email.

Explore the Peirce-du Pont House and its Conservatory with an eye for the unusual detail. After a brief introduction, and the opportunity to hear the history from Longwood’s Archivist, you’ll enjoy photographing the unusual features without the bustling crowds. We will reserve class time for photography and invite you to participate in an online platform for lively discussion and critique as a follow up to the class. This class is open to all who own a digital camera capable of accepting multiple lenses. Bring your camera, a tripod, and a remote shutter release.
