After 32 years without a World Series win, the Los Angeles Dodgers became the champions and took the victory against the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 6 of the World Series beating them 3-1. This took place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on October 27, 2020.

Jeopardy host Alex Trebek, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2020, at age 80. He had been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer for almost two years now. He hosted the show “Jeopardy!” for over 37 seasons which include more than 8,200 episodes. Trebek’s last day in the studio was October 29, and episodes hosted by him are set to air through December 25. He has inspired many people throughout his life and will be greatly missed.

As of November 16, 2020, there have been 11.1M COVID-19 cases and 246K deaths. In California, there have been 1.04M cases and 18,265 deaths. In San Bernardino County, there have been 74,166 cases and 1,097 deaths.

Joseph R. Biden has been announced as the winner of the 2020 election, as reported by CNN news. He will become the 46th president of the United States. Kamala Harris, the vice president-elect, will become the first female, Black and Asian vice president in the United States’ history.
