Hand Washing
Hand Washing By Natalia Rojas
At a time like this, proper hygiene is crucial. Bacteria and disease can spread in the blink of an eye, so we need to stay prepared and keep clean. Hands carry a large amount of bacteria, so it is easy to transfer disease by contact. This is why keeping your hands clean is so important.
Hand sanitizers are useful, but washing your hands with antibacterial hand soap is far more effective. However, you need to use the right methods of washing your hands to truly eradicate disease. For example, you need to scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap before rinsing it off in warm water.
In the visual aid (made by WHO) to the right, it is explained how to efficiently get your hands completely clean while washing them. These methods will help you from transferring COVID-19 after you come home from the grocery store or any other absolutely necessary trip.
