Figure 3 - A GTW locomotive and a CN locomotive at Steel is a former integrated steel company. The company had three locations. The first plant was in Detroit, Michigan. The second which was significantly larger and was in Trenton, Michigan. The third and final plant, a cold mill, in Gibraltar, Michigan. The one in Gibraltar MI is now in use today. During the days of the steel mills, you could see 40+ trains running the lines. This was still in action DT&I and Conrail was still running in Detroit. Today the steel cars sit on the ground burnt, they have been like that for a few years now.

There was talk about making it a big train yard a few years ago but that never happened. Last year they were doing a lot of work to it. I am sad to say it has stopped. A few years ago there was a small fire in there so now it is just a other old steel plant just sitting there, no longer being used.
