Things are always happening in the township of Cranford This year, Cranford participated in National Bike, Walk, and Roll to School Day on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Cranford Mayor Brian Andrews issued a proclamation on behalf of the Township Committee and the Cranford schools supported the effort. At our Township Committee meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 10, Caren Demyen, our Downtown Management Corporation director, and spirited young residents joined us to proclaim the start of our Halloween season and highlight the large number of Halloween events in town this year. Also at the meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 10, October was proclaimed Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Bosom Buddies of New Jersey were recognized for their help to families, who are on the front lines of fighting cancer.
