“It is so fun to see two dozen little princesses, superheroes, Tiggers, Madeline’s, Betsy and Tacy, etc. cosplaying it up while sipping ‘tea,’ coloring, meeting real live royalty and singing with Madeline’s Christmas cast. Watching the grown-ups taking pictures is really fun, too,” Hansen says. Madeline’s Christmas has performances on December 6–8 and 13–15. In the musical adaption of Ludwig Bemelman’s children’s story, Madeline and her schoolmates are sick on Christmas Eve. With the help of a magical rug merchant, Madeline brings her friends on an unforgettable journey.
