Interior Motive The Design Firm Behind IDEA1’s Staged Rooms Gives Us an Inside Look

IDEA1, an apartment complex in Downtown San Diego, places a strong emphasis on art and community, which is also reflected in their interior design. Cadie Browne Lee, CEO of Parisi Portfolio, has an eye for design and gave IDEA1’s interior what she calls a “modern-artistic” look. Browne Lee’s inspiration for the design originally came from the floorplans. “The high ceilings, grey and neutral finishes sparked our interest to bring the artistic elements of IDEA1 into the interior,” says Browne Lee. Her design is meant to echo the community space of IDEA1, called The Hub. “It’s bringing people to talk and socialize, to enjoy the arts, to come out with an easel and paint and be artistic and creative. We wanted to bring that lifestyle to the interior.”
