¢ The unofficial start of summer begins with the Del Mar Racetrack Opening Day! The annual tradition draws spectators from all over. It’s where East Coast glamour meets Cali vibes, so bring your biggest and flashiest hat and participate in the Opening Day Hat Contest! There will be gourmet food, a beer garden, cocktails, photo booths and, of course, horses!

Gaslamp District’s Annual Taste of Gaslamp returns to celebrate 23 years of food and culture! With over 25 restaurants participating, there will be plenty to see and taste in the 16 squareblock neighborhood from 1 to 4 p.m. Come experience the culinary style of San Diego! Early birds can buy general admission tickets for $30 and VIP for $60.

EXPLORE THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY FAIR June 2-July 4 ¢ Home of the largest county fair in the United States and with over 1.6 million visitors, the county fair has been a family tradition, a place to gather with friends and the location of many first dates!
