The markings of success can be evident in satisfied customers and the growth of a company. The creation of such success is often behind the scenes, rarely seen amongst the accolades. Kessler Plastic Surgery has cultivated a reputation of excellence and wonderful customer service due mostly to Dr. Kessler himself, and the team beside him. A devoted family man, Dr. Robert Kessler’s ability to understand his clients stems from the dedication he has to those in his life. We sat down with him to learn more about where he draws his inspiration and where Kessler Plastic Surgery’s growth has taken them this year.

Q: Who or what inspires you? Dr. Robert Kessler: I am inspired by the transformation people undergo through the aesthetic experience. The technical work is intricate and challenging but it is seeing the growth in the individual’s self-confidence and their enhanced sense of well-being and how my procedures improve their quality of life that truly motivates and inspires me.
Q: What have been highlights for your practice this year thus far? RK: Our practice continues to grow each year thanks to our happy patients introducing us to their friends. Generally speaking, nice people have nice friends, and we are fortunate to have this ever larger group of great people to work with. This year has also brought two great additions to the practice—our Patient Coordinator Mariah and our Front Office Director Kendra. Together they create a welcoming environment with an unparalleled customer service experience.
Q: Tell us about your family. You have said that, besides work, your daughters are your main focus. Can you expand on that? RK: I have been doubly blessed first with an extraordinary wife and three beautiful daughters and secondly with a passion for my work, which affords me the ability to provide for them. I take my role as a father very seriously and truly enjoy the experience. I am amazed at how three individuals from the same genetic material raised in the same environment can be so completely different. Each with their unique strengths and challenges

Q: What sets your practice apart from others? RK: We have a holistic approach to aesthetics. Each individual brings a unique set of questions and desires to the practice and we have all the tools to address these concerns. Although the focus of the practice is surgery, we understand that skin care, medical devices and proper medical care all contribute to the final aesthetic results. My goals are to help you enjoy who you are even more.
Native Knowledge: Ò Where does the Kessler family like to eat and play when out and about? “The Taco Asylum—Fast easy and incredibly delicious,” says Dr. Kessler. “A favorite weekend activity is biking and rollerblading. It is not unusual to see us with our gear at the Eureka! in the UCI Town Center enjoying a burger and for me a regional microbrew.”
