For the month of November, it was very eventful and created memories I would never forget. As it is my first year being president and first ever Fall Rally, it was an amazing experience. The process of making sure my home club was able to go to the Fall Rally was very stressful, but then again, contributes to another unforgettable memory. From the spirit nights leading up to the event itself, it introduced me to how much I enjoy being in this club despite the pain and suffering I endure. Prior to this year, I had no idea what the spirit cheers were nor did a majority of my members. Therefore, after experiencing a whole pandemic, having the ability to bond with a majority of key clubbers towards learning the cheers was very entertaining. Especially the thrusting one. Continuing on to my personal experience at Fall Rally, I loved seeing my friends from other divisions; also including the new friendships that were made. What’s even better is that WE GOT THAT SPIRIT STICK!! “WE GOT THE SPIRIT STICK! YEAH WE GOT THE SPIRIT STICK!” <3

Leo's X Key Club Leo's and Key club had a park clean up/ social. This event was taken place on Saturday November 6th at Modjeska Park from 12 to 3pm. We got to play volleyball and eat some snacks. Not only were you able to make new friends but also got to help clean the park that sounds like a win win to me ! It was a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next social.

Keysgiving “What are you grateful for” many people constantly asked me throughout November. I usually answered with basic things like friends, family, education, and more, but I think the right answer should have been “Key Club”. Sure it may be cheesy or cliche, however, I can’t deny the fact that Key Club is my favorite organization by far. This of course meant that I just had to attend Keysgiving! Keysgiving took place on Saturday, November 27th, 2021 from 3-5 PM at Twila Reid Park. The social bonding started with an icebreaker where members shared some small talk with each other and rotated every few minutes. Members were able to meet new friends and deepen relationships with people they may have already known. Following this activity, members feasted on some delicious snacks that some people brought for potluck and while doing so, there was a service project that went on throughout the day that members could do if they chose to. Mouth-watering nachos, energizing coffee jelly, and sweetening milk tea! Now, food wasn’t the only thing people fell in love with, but people fell in love with each other (oo lah lahhh). You heard right! Love was in the air this Keysgiving as members married each other at our very own marriage booth where Anna Nguyen and Natalie Sheng were officiants who got Key Club members married. What a sweet way to end Keysgiving, right? Yes, indeed. I hope that those who attended Keysgiving had lots of fun and were able to make new connections and for those who didn’t, I hope to see you next year or at future events that Division 30 South hosts and if you’re still single, don’t freight! More marriage booths are yet to come.

Two & a Half W's Fall South This month I had the lucky chance to attend Loara x Western x Whitney Fall social. I actually helped plan the event alongside Loara Key Club president Trina Thai and Whitney and Western’s key club members. The event took place in Twila Reid Park where we had a picnic style social. Loara provided pumpkins and paint to use. We had small plastic pumpkin canvases to decorate or design however we desired to. I decided to paint my pumpkin with a mix of different colors. I had a great experience seeing as this is my first time helping plan out a collaborative social. I got to meet and socialize with other members from Western and Whitney. I definitely look forward to helping plan out other upcoming socials and meeting new people along the way. This experience is like no other and I definitely recommend people to attend. I cannot wait for what December might bring.

Fall Rally South YO SUNS! WHO GOT YOU SHINING LIKE THAT? 30 SOUTH DIVISION 30 SOUTH. OUR SPIRIT CAN’T BE BEAT. NO ONE CAN TAKE THE HEAT. WE ARE THE SHINING SUNS, AND WE ARE ALWAYS NUMBER ONE! As a member of the wonderful D30S Spirit Committee, I worked closely with my fellow spirit committee members and helped lead the division cheers for the highly anticipated Fall Rally South! On Saturday, November 13, 2021, Key clubbers from all over the Division met at 5:00AM at Savannah High School to board the buses to travel to 6 Flags Magic Mountain. We arrived at 6 Flags around 8AM, exploring the part until our Spirit Session began. When the clock struck 10:30AM, D30S key clubbers raced to our Spirit Session, ready to conquer the other divisions. We chanted our hearts out, screaming until our heads fell off and were afraid to lose our voices. By the Spirit Session’s end, Division 30 South won the spirit stick! All our hard work paid off, and we continued our three year win streak! I’m so happy I attended Fall Rally South. Fall Rally South even provided me with my very own Key Club Moment. At FRS, I had a spirit battle with group of Ninjas. After this battle, we exchanged laughs with them and talked. In the middle of us getting to know one another, some Axolotls and Corgis spirit battled right in front of us! Our group then got so excited and merged with them, starting a FOUR-WAY spirit battle. It was wild and so much fun. It was so fun getting close to people within my division through the Spirit Committee and even meeting new friends outside of my division through spirit battles and random hellos! I can’t wait to re-attend next year to reclaim the spirit stick… WE GOT THAT SPIRIT STICK! AYEE! WE GOT THAT SPIRIT STICK!
