Circle K International Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee 2008-2009 District Board of Officers Up Close and Personal Here for y’all is a little bit of personal information about your district officers. Also they are answering two questions for you: 1) What is something you would like to see changed in our district? 2) What is one thing that is precious to you from your membership in Circle K? Governor Gavin Robért Louisiana State University Major: History 1) I would only love to see our district grow! 2) Circle K International has given me opportunities to meet new people of various backgrounds and lots of traveling experience. It is very cliché but I say it because I am not a member of any other student organization except a residential life organization which is domiciled solely to campus.

Bulletin Editor Hanna Olivier Millsaps College Major: Biochemistry Minor: Classical Studies 1) I would love for members of the district to meet and build lasting friendships through service with people throughout the district not only in his or her home club. 2) I am able to do service in so many different settings, which has allowed me to better understand the needs of the world!!!

Gulf Coast Lieutenant Governor Alisha Morris University of New Orleans Major: History 1) The one thing I personally want to improve is attendance at district events. 2) The thing that has made Circle K wonderful for me is meeting so many people, and the friendships that I have developed.

Secretary/Treasurer Justin Quarles University of New Orleans Major: History Minor: Business Administration 1) I want to dramatically increase the number of members in our district as well as have a district-wide service project. 2) This organization has allowed me to meet so many people. It is like one, big family!

Delta Central Lieutenant Governor Edgar Meyer Millsaps College Majors: Biology and Classical Studies 1) I want to improve membership retention, participation of active members, and build new clubs in Mississippi. 2) One thing I have found in this organization is that it is highly service oriented without any expectation for rewards. Often our service goes unnoticed, and I find it honorable that we can work to together without the need for recognition.

Bayou South Lieutenant Governor Meredith Pursell Louisiana State University Majors: Mass Communication and Advertising Minor: Film 1) I would like to see our membership not only grow, but become more involved in service and stick to the principles of the organization. 2) Circle K has expanded my view of the world, and has given me the ability to focus on the good qualities in everyone.
