STARTING AT LJMU You will be expected to complete your student registration online, before you enrol onto your university course. As we navigate the ongoing changes associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot say for certain what your introduction to the University will look like at this stage. The UK Department for Education recently announced a threelevel system to assist in preventing the rise of coronavirus cases in some areas of England. Levels are set at medium, high and very high risk. The system allows us to plan for any eventuality in the ongoing crisis and we are able to increase or decrease our offering of face to face or online teaching through our own internal alert planning. The region can rise or fall within this system at any time so it is best to check our website for the most up to date information on your expected entry

route and introduction and read your emails regularly. There you will learn more about the current course delivery method and what you can expect from your department. We would like to reassure you that even in a very high category, the city and campus will remain accessible to those who need it the most and the everyday running of local shops and food outlets are mostly unaffected. As a new student, we will ensure that you are up to date with local guidelines and are supported in your induction to your course by both staff and student representatives. We look forward to welcoming you!
