Cobb & Co, Dunedin new internal fitout (750m2)
This award-winning project inside the Dunedin Railway Station involved a 750m2 commercial fit out, allowing for 220 diners in this 1906 heritage category 1 building. In addition to the new restaurant and bar is a 150m2 deck using repurposed steel from a 1800’s railway bridge which was approved by Heritage New Zealand. The Cobb & Co is housed on the ground floor of the building and was designed to complement the pioneering heritage of the surrounds, including the familiar booths and swinging saloon doors that create the recognisable atmosphere which is uniquely Cobb & Co. It also hosts subtle touches of technology and design features, including colour LED lighting and large gas fireplaces.
