FUNGI IN THE WILD

Anne Greenhalgh Insta: @nicoiseannie

From local photographer, Anne Greenhalgh

his month Anne Greenhalgh is sharing some of the mini world fungus photos T she took in local woods whilst walking her dog this autumn. Her interest in the world of fungus began as a child when visiting family in France. There were long walks into the mountain forests looking for edible mushrooms that would then be dried and stored. These subjects are easier to capture as unlike butterflies who flit about, fungus keeps still, although lack of light can be tricky in the wood undergrowth. Anne is approaching her 10th year of uploading a photo a day to the Blipfoto website.
