HAVE YOU MET THE QUEEN? amuel Whitbread Academy is on the lookout for anybody Scelebrate who has met the Queen, to take part in a short film to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. SWA’s film and media
students are creating the video which will include short interviews with people who have met Queen Elizabeth II, recalling their experiences. Her majesty has visited the local area a number of times in the last few decades, notably opening the new buildings at Samuel Whitbread and the new Arlesey train station in 2006. We know many people flocked to see the Queen, often accompanied by the late Duke of Edinburgh, and our students would love to hear some of these stories! Our students are incredibly excited about the project, which will see them plan, produce and edit the film using all the skills they have developed at their time at Samuel Whitbread. The film will be played at the Queens Platinum Jubilee ran byBook Cliftona Parish Council on 4th no obligation and 5th June 2022, as well as being at the forefront of consultation our website andwith socialShefford-based media channels celebrating the event.
