Open Day at Warden Abbey Vineyard Open Day and Wine Sale with local food and crafts at Warden Abbey Vineyard, near Old Warden: Sunday 12th September 11am - 4pm Our big day of the year and main fund-raiser! Come and find out the story of the medieval vineyard and abbey, why and how the monks made wine, and how volunteers now care for the vines all year round. Taste and buy our wines, take a tour and browse the local food and craft stalls. There will be a petting farm and other children’s activities, BBQ, icecream and other refreshments.
